Introduction

Central heating systems are increasingly used. Condominium users prefer independent temperature control, and request to pay for what they have actually consumed and not based on the allocation of costs on millesimal basis.

We at Sitec have created an integrated system which allows for the direct accounting of consumption also with centralized heating situations, both for new contructions as well as already existing ones, all without the need for renovations.

The different telemetering systems

Through the use of a PC it is possible to read all meters connected to M-Bus and view the consumption data of the related users, thanks to the use of our amplifiers (STAM), it is possible to increase a maximum number of meters connected to the hubs, up to a maximum of 500.

Thanks to the hubs Sitec of STCM line, equipped with GSM/GPRS modem and/or Ethernet interface, it is possible to read meters connected to it via M-Bus, and to transmit a data file with the meter readings to the user/s via email.

The Walk-By reading is the “mobile or proximity” reading. The readings are collected by a representative that, equipped with a receiver connected to a computer/tablet, takes readings of each meter within a maximum radius of 100 meters.

We have created a web service that receives consumption data from hubs installed in various plants, then making available these data:

  • For each user, that can access the website and monitor their own consumption.
  • The condominium administrators who can manage individual tenants and view its consumption.
